Legal effects of the partnership [Efectos jurídicos de la unión de hecho]

This research aims to analyse economic and patrimonial violence in Ecuador. This study was developed using a review of 11 articles on economic, patrimonial and family violence. Economic, patrimonial and family violence, as evidenced in the studies reviewed, constitutes an insidious form of control and subordination that perpetuates gender inequalities and seriously affects women's autonomy and well-being, especially in vulnerable contexts. The intersectionality of factors such as race, gender and class exacerbates these forms of violence, underscoring the need for multidimensional approaches that integrate legal, psychological and social perspectives.
