Abstract

This article aims to design inclusive strategies based on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach to improve learning in basic education in Ecuador. Through a documentary review of 25 scientific articles published between 2018 and 2025, strategies aligned with the principles of UDL were identified: representation, action and expression, and involvement. These strategies include the use of inclusive technologies, diversification of teaching methods, formative assessment, and the creation of flexible learning environments. The results highlight the importance of continuous teacher training and the strengthening of inclusive educational policies to ensure their implementation. This work provides a theoretical and practical basis that seeks to transform teaching practices in diverse contexts, promoting equitable, quality education that responds to the diversity of Ecuadorian students.
