ICT: A challenge within social processes

The use of Information and Communication Technologies is a challenge because it involves a series of elements that require appropriate management to achieve optimal communication between people. The elements referred to are focused on all those components that make up ICTs, i.e., tools and resources, Internet connection, access to such connection and interaction between people in different areas, such as: political, religious, economic, social, educational, among others. All of them, united in the same context, reveal a participatory and reciprocal process that urges people to be trained in ICT, in order to adjust to the changes of the day to day.

The use of ICTs has become a necessity today, since without their existence it is impossible to achieve direct contact with people from other parts of the world. It is worth noting that ICTs have been present in every moment of life, from writing on stones, the use of paper, the use of mail through letters to e-mail and others, which have been innovative in each of their respective eras, and it is thanks to them that we can now enjoy new effective means to relate to each other. In general terms, man has always had the same goal in mind: "to facilitate communication through innovation" and, for this reason, every new installation has been called technology since its origins. Consequently, at any stage it could be called "technology of the moment".

Based on the above idea, it is necessary to point out that the technology of the moment has grown with its pros and cons, but it has advanced and that is important, since it has transcended the limits of the world to provide the possibility of establishing synchronous and asynchronous communications between people from anywhere on the planet. As an example, it is worth mentioning the case of the man who went to the moon; of which we keep memories through physical files (photos) and documentaries (videos); likewise, the spacecraft launched to the planet Mars (some successfully or not) have shown us part of it. As a result of these achievements, it has been possible to specify that man's mentality has changed, since he has dared to generate other creations in function of the expansion of knowledge and his abilities.

However, some people still fear the use of ICTs in the work context, since when they use them, they usually do so for personal reasons. It is one thing to use technology and quite another to use it wisely in the appropriate situation. Currently, there are several areas that require personnel trained in ICT, but not all people dare to train in this competence. In this sense, it is appropriate to rethink the here and now and start worrying about what the work environment really demands. Consequently, and based on the aforementioned advances, research must navigate within the scope of these scopes, with the aim of calling attention to channel our life purpose towards the appropriate use of ICT.

From this perspective, the Multidisciplinary Journal Perspectivas Investigativas takes advantage of these advances and turns its gaze towards the exploration of new unknown horizons that lead to know which aspects of the technological field can be taken as a model and which properties strengthen the researcher from a holistic point of view. All this is achieved through the sharing of knowledge among researchers who have deepened the situational context of ICT. For this reason, the journal opens its doors to the different experiences and systematizes them, with the purpose of providing the reader with a range of possibilities that facilitate their optimal performance in the different areas of daily work.

In this way, it includes research conceptions that integrate different approaches, methods, ideas and reasoning that not only invite to reflect but also to understand the different epistemological positions that contribute to expand knowledge; for this reason, the journal is a compendium of studies whose goals are oriented towards the dissemination and optimization of those visions that contribute to the strengthening of the appropriate use of ICTs. Broadly speaking, the journal offers its space for research experiences that have been synthesized in order to outline a theoretical framework that consolidates scientific knowledge and leads the individual to take risks in their field of work with the use of ICT and leads them to play an active role in favor of their integral formation through the promulgation of various experiences through research.
